Why always use the word foodie when you can also use:

Epicure (/ˈɛpɪkjʊə,ˈɛpɪkjɔː/): someone who loves fine wine and food.
Gastronome (/ˈɡastrənəʊm/): who takes pleasure in eating and drinking (Gastronomy is art of choosing, cooking and eating good food.)
Gourmet /ˈɡʊəmeɪ/: a person with discerning taste (Gourmet is also used for anything relating to a very specialised food requiring elaborate and expert preparation.)
Connoisseur (/ˌkɒnəˈsəː/): an expert in the matters of taste (e.g. a connoisseur of food; a connoisseur of music etc.)
Gourmand (/ˈɡʊəmənd/): a person who loves to eat.
